Bitovnja is the least known of the mountains near Konjic, making it the perfect escape for those who enjoy a quieter, more relaxing day in nature. With its lush forests, wide-open meadows, and sweeping views, Bitovnja offers a refreshing change from busier trails.

Part of the Ćvrsnica massif, Bitovnja features ~850m elevation gain and moderate terrain. The trails are peaceful and uncrowded, ideal for hikers who want beautiful scenery at a comfortable pace.

What to Expect

Your Bitovnja hike begins with a meeting in Konjic and transfer to the trailhead. The route takes 6-7 hours round trip through forest, open slopes, and scenic viewpoints.

The pace is relaxed, with plenty of time to take in the views and enjoy the quiet surroundings. We return to Konjic in the afternoon. Bring layers, water, lunch, and sun protection.

Safety & Equipment

Bitovnja requires standard mountain hiking preparation. Our certified guides carry first aid and emergency equipment. We monitor conditions and adapt the route as needed.

You need: sturdy hiking boots, weather layers, 2L water, lunch and snacks, sun protection. We provide route planning, safety briefing, transportation.

Bitovnja is quieter and more relaxing. Similar difficulty to Zec (~850m gain) but with fewer hikers, making it ideal for a peaceful day in the mountains.
